The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ operates its own public water supply, in accordance with the health-based standards for drinking water outlined in the national Safe Drinking Water Act.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Lead and Copper Rule and Rhode Island Department of Health regulations require public water systems to routinely test for lead and copper. The University is currently required to test for lead once every six months at 60 campus locations and communicate the results to the campus community.
Based on our recent testing in February, all 60 tested locations are in compliance with EPA standards and no action is required. The results of this testing can be .
