翱苍听Thursday, April 3, URI Air Force Reserve Officers鈥� Training Corps (ROTC) cadets will conduct training in the North Woods area of the and adjacent fields, north of the Flagg Road parking lot, Lot. 20. Training will take place in the North Woods, including the hiking trails, as well as Fields 3, 4, and 5 shown in the accompanying map.
The training will begin around 3 p.m. and continue until 7 p.m. Training will include cadets in uniform and the use of mock firearms that appear real. No real firearms or ammunition will be used.
“ROTC Training in Progress” yard signs will be in place to alert anyone in the surrounding area or adjacent fields.
